GROW, GROW, GROW

Time to channel my inner green thumb! Summer's here, and while I might not have a sprawling garden, I've got some potted plant pals ready to soak up the sun. Oh, and did I mention? I've also sprouted a brand-new website! :)

What an exhilarating year it's been so far! We moved Mom into assisted living, and she absolutely loves it! She's thrilled with the food, and they're doing a fantastic job ensuring she takes all her necessary meds.

I started working on my new website. I decided to try Wix to see how I like it. I had been using WordPress, but my brain just couldn't figure it out.

And then...there I was, taking an unexpected vacation in the hospital, getting two shiny stents in one artery! OMG! Talk about a plot twist! It was both terrifying and enlightening. Apparently, my DNA decided to play the villain in the story of my mostly healthy lifestyle. Who would've thought?!

Meanwhile, amidst the chaos, I was juggling some fun new projects for you all. It's tough to resist doing what you love, even when it feels like you're herding cats!

The awesome part about chilling out is that I get more time at my computer, which means I can create some cool new stuff for you, like the GROW shelf sitter in the video above. Or the HOME house-shaped design. And even the smartphone stand. I'm also taking some of my vinyl designs and turning them into laser designs for making signs and other fun things.

Is it weird that when I think of all the summer fun, I'm just overjoyed that I don't have to waddle through two feet of snow like a bundled-up penguin just to reach my laser? Who knew avoiding frostbite could be so exhilarating!
